Our Penzance print, on the front of the cushion, is a celebration of the flora and fauna that can be found beneath the canopies of our woods and forests throughout the changing seasons. Set against a soft pink background, a knot of adders sits entwined a the centre, lying among a bed of bluebells in their vibrant springtime bloom and brambles that are bearing their ripe autumnal fruits.
On the reverse, the elegance of the long, narrow bluebell leaf, often overlooked in favour of the vibrant flowers that their plant produces in the spring, lends its beauty to the understated, repeating pattern of our Wistman print. With colours that create a sophisticated contrast between pattern and background, the subtle design is striking in its simplicity and offers a hint of nature all year round.
Each of our cushions begins life as a hand-drawn design which is digitally coloured before being printed onto silk. Once they are sewn and finished with contrast piping, we fill the covers with plush feather pads that have been specially selected for their ability to stay fuller for longer.
With their decorative designs and luxurious silk fabric, our cushions are equally at home adding a pop of colour to a bedspread as they are bringing a colour scheme together in a living space.
