A pair of poisonous adders sit entwined at the centre of our Wembury print, which takes its name from the beach where they can be found in rock pools after meandering down from the floral fields and wild cliffs above. The soft pink and mustard yellow hues of the design create a vibrant contrast as they rest on the leaves of the wild strawberry plant, surrounded by its flowers and fruits as they bloom and ripen under the rays of the late summer sun.
On the reverse, our delicately detailed Kynance print sees wild strawberry plants bloom in bunches that are repeated across the design. Adders can be spotted weaving among the clusters of plants while the sweet, red fruits ripen and the flowers and foliage soak up the sun of a long summer’s day.
Each of our cushions begins life as a hand-drawn design which is digitally coloured before being printed onto silk. Once they are sewn and finished with contrast piping, we fill the covers with plush feather pads that have been specially selected for their ability to stay fuller for longer.
With their decorative designs and luxurious silk fabric, our cushions are equally at home adding a pop of colour to a bedspread as they are bringing a colour scheme together in a living space.
